The proposal to hold the Asia Cricket Cup from September 5 to 21 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi may be formally approved in the Asian Cricket Council meeting today.
According to sources, the Asia Cup to be hosted by India will be the main agenda of the Asian Cricket Council meeting today, on which the representative of the host board, Rajiv Shukla, will present his position.
The schedule will also be finalized in consultation with the participants of the meeting.
Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong teams will participate in the Asia Cup. The Pakistan-India match may be held on September 7.
Before that, a tri-nation series between Pakistan, Afghanistan and UAE teams is also likely to be held in Dubai.
